1. Contact us via email to begin the process
We can discuss your project needs, deadlines, rates, final delivery format, CD Replication/Duplication ,etc.
2. Prepping your Mixdown files
I have created a PDF file that helps guide you through this step-by-step to ensure that you turn in the best final mix possible. After discussing the project, I can provide you a link to download the file. Here are some general guidelines to get you started:
> File Format: AIFF or WAVE files preferred
> Bit Depth: 24 bits with NO dithering or noise shaping
> Sample Rates: original sample rate it was natively mixed in
> Headroom: I would advise you keep your peaks @ -6 to -10 dBFS
> Master Buss plugins: preferably NO extreme compression/limiting
> Fade In/Out: Please save these for the mastering engineer
> Track List: Please include Exact Names, Order, and ISRC codes
3. Upload your files via FTP
Once we have agreed on your project needs, I can give you your login and password to upload your files to our FTP server. I have also created a page that outlines how to do this:
4. The Mastering Phase begins
> Expect a turnaround of about 2 days before the initial masters
> Approval: you download your masters from the server
> After you are happy with the masters, we begin..
> Album Sequecing, any Fades requested, and Final Output
> Delivery: You will receive your 2 master CDs or DDP Image file
